Training and Development Services
The courses offered by CDG are specifically designed for the training and development of individuals operating as consultants, analysts and advisors, project leaders and managers, and for those operating in business development roles in a consulting or professional services environment. These courses are not “off the shelf” training programs. They are modular in design, and are offered on-line, through an instructor-led classroom approach or through a “blended learning” format that incorporates classroom, e-learning and collaborative on-line support. Pre-session and post-session work is assigned in conjunction with content delivery to help ensure a comprehensive learning experience.

The Professional Consulting Skills course is designed to provide a solid grounding in professional consulting fundamentals and the “real world” application of those skills. This course and its respective modules have been used effectively to help create a common philosophy, culture and approach in established consulting organizations populated by experienced consultants with diverse backgrounds. Individual modules of this course can also be delivered via webinar depending on the firm’s needs. The course is also utilized to transition those individuals with specific technical or industry skills and no consulting experience into a consulting role, or orient new hires with limited consulting experience.

The overall goal of this course is to convey the importance of reducing variation in the sales process, the tools and techniques that will contribute to that goal and helping to ensure that your company’s services align with the client’s needs.
